This research analyzes document availability and designs Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), specifically earplug Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) use, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) at PT Peputra Supra Jaya. The study was motivated by mandatory Indonesian Sustainable Palm Oil (ISPO) certification for oil palm plantation companies and Stage II Audit findings revealing the absence of SOPs for earplug usage in high-noise areas and CSR implementation. PT Peputra Supra Jaya was selected because, despite holding a Cultivation Plantation Business Licence, it had not yet obtained ISPO certification and had been notified of this obligation by the Riau provincial government and the Directorate General of Plantations. A project-based qualitative case study was conducted at the company from mid-August to October 2024, using observation, document review, and in-depth interviews with company management, including the Director, Estate Manager, Mill Manager, Plantation Assistant, Head of Plantation Administration, and Head of Mill Administration, and the ISPO certification audit team. Results indicate that SOPs for earplug usage and CSR activities were previously unavailable. To address the audit findings, this study produced draft SOPs covering: (1) earplug PPE usage, encompassing requisitioning, purchase approval, distribution, training, protocols for noisy areas, storage, maintenance, and replacement; and (2) CSR, covering planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and accountability in a measurable, sustainable manner. Implementation of these draft SOPs is expected to help PT Peputra Supra Jaya meet ISPO principles and criteria, enhance OHS compliance, strengthen relationships with local communities, and support the sustainability of its operations and business.
